Node Caucus Forum Provides Education About the Developing Bitcoin Ecosystem in Tennessee for Legislators and Policy makers.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — November 13, 2025 — On Wednesday November 19, the Tennessee Bitcoin Alliance (TNBTC) will host the first semiannual Node Caucus event on Capital Hill, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The forum will address a growing need from elected officials, policy makers, and business leaders to understand the technological and economic developments that are positioning Tennessee as a leader in the bitcoin industry.
“From the development of a stable and efficient energy grid, to business friendly initiatives, Tennessee has attracted a rapidly-growing bitcoin community, making our state a leader in the nation in many respects,” said Dave Birnbaum, President of the Tennessee Bitcoin Alliance. “The Node Caucus is designed to answer the request from lawmakers and policy makers for more education and information about bitcoin and the opportunities it presents for Tennessee."
Node Caucus is an invitation-only event for active participation, discussion, and decisionmaking around the technical, legal, and policy scaffolding that can make Tennessee a nationwide leader in the bitcoin industry. The Caucus agenda will be presented by business professionals in the Bitcoin field and will address topics that include:
- How bitcoin policy influences the state's economic growth
- Financial regulation and its effect on the bitcoin ecosystem
- Energy resources and how bitcoin mining can grow the grid
- Data center build-outs for AI and bitcoin infrastructure
- Tax treatment of bitcoin-based commercial activity
- Financial privacy and constitutional constraints
Invitations to this event are available to members of government, the media, and those who are active in relevant sectors of the state economy including energy, AI and data center development, bitcoin mining, cryptography, and law.
